Dr Nadia Redelinghuys, originally from Johannesburg, is a dynamic medical professional with a unique background in both medicine and finance. She earned her MBChB degree from the University of the Witwatersrand after completing her internship at Chris Hani Baragwanath Academic Hospital (CHBAH) and her community service year at Tshwane Rehabilitation Hospital. There, she managed patients in the neurology and spine wards while also covering overtime duties in the Tshwane District Hospital’s Emergency Department.

Her commitment to professional development is evident in her completion of advanced medical courses, including Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) and Advanced Trauma Life Support (ATLS).

Before embarking on her medical journey, Dr Redelinghuys built a successful career in finance, working as a Derivative Sales Trader, Index Market Maker, and Arbitrage Trader at Nedbank Capital and RMB Morgan Stanley. She holds an Honours degree in Advanced Mathematics of Finance from the University of the Witwatersrand and a BSc in Financial Mathematics from the University of Johannesburg.

In her current role at the oncology practice, she is deeply involved in managing the oncology ward and providing follow-up care to patients undergoing chemotherapy or palliative treatment. Known for her compassionate nature and ability to support patients through challenging conversations, Dr Redelinghuys is also pursuing a diploma in palliative care medicine.

Outside of work, she enjoys golfing, rock climbing, and discovering new culinary experiences. Her well-rounded background and patient-centred approach ensure that each patient under her care receives compassionate, individualised treatment.
