MBChB Dip Pall Med

(ABJ Midstream Oncology Centre)

After matriculating in 1993, Dr Mary-Anne Naudé went on to obtain her MBChB from the University of the Orange Free State in 1999. She completed her internship at Charlotte Maxeke Hospital, followed by community service at Matikwana Hospital, near the small town of Hazyview. Soon after, Dr Naude relocated to the United Kingdom, where she was appointed medical officer in internal medicine and the neonatology unit. While working as a medical officer in the UK, her love for palliative medicine grew.

Dr Naudé returned to South Africa in 2003, where she occupied a position as General Practitioner. Before being hired for this position, she received her Diploma in Palliative Medicine and gained experience in the oncology field. Dr Naudé acquired extensive knowledge in chemotherapy and radiotherapy and embraced all aspects of palliative medicine. She presently works as a General Practitioner at ABJ Inc., providing world-class oncological care in terms of pain management and future life planning.

Part-time, Dr Naudé enjoys the arts and cooking for her two boys, Matthew and Justin. Together as a family, they care for a menagerie of adorable animals that they own.
