Dr. Elzanne de Villiers graduated with her MBChB from the University of Pretoria in 2002. After completing her internship and community service, she worked in private general practice in Pretoria from 2005 to 2024. She also obtained a Diploma in Family Medicine through Stellenbosch University, reflecting her commitment to comprehensive, patient-centred care.

In March 2024, Dr. Elzanne de Villiers transitioned into oncology and joined ABJ Oncology in June 2025. She is passionate about supporting patients through one of the most challenging periods of their lives and considers it a privilege to walk alongside them on their cancer journey. Working in oncology has deepened her appreciation for the gift of good health and reinforced her belief in living life to the fullest, while providing compassionate, holistic care as part of a multidisciplinary team.

Outside of medicine, Dr. de Villiers is a devoted wife and mother of two teenage boys. She enjoys spending quality time with family and friends, jogging, spending time outdoors, and exploring her creative interests, with her family remaining her greatest priority.
