Dr Christopher Mbowane completed his MBCHB in 2003 at the Universidad de Villa Clara in Cuba. He then worked at Witbank complex for 3 years and later moved to Greys Hospital as a Principal Medical Officer.

This was followed by an enrolment in the Paediatrics & Child health Registrar program at UKZN. While busy with his research after completing his rotations he was head hunted back to Mpumalanga to head the Paediatric District Specialist team in Gert Sibande. After 17 years’ experience in the public sector, he moved into private practice in June 2021 as a Family Practitioner.

Dr Chris Mbowane joined ABJ Oncology Trichardt on the 1st of April 2022 working as a medical practitioner.
